Hello guys! 🙂

Sophie (Maria Bello) finds her old friend Diana (Alicia Vela-Bailey). The only problem is that she isn’t human any more. Diana wants more than anything to be close to Sophie again and in order to achieve that she kills everyone who stands on her way. She even thinks that Rebecca (Teresa Palmer) and Martin (Gabriel Bateman), Sophie’s children, are a threat. The only way to fight Diana is by leaving the lights on!

The actors were pretty great and fit in their roles very well. We liked that the characters (most of them at least) were actually smart for a horror movie. David F. Sandberg and Eric Heisserer did a great job with the directing and writing. Sure there were some blank spaces on the script, but compared to the rest of it, they didn’t matter so much. The only problem was that the movie doesn’t build a mystery around Diana and she introduced too soon. Nevertheless, the movie was not boring at all, it had a nice and unexpected endind and it wasn’t the classic horror movie you would expect.
