Hello guys! 🙂

Yesterday we wanted to go to the cinema, but as always we didn’t know what to watch between ”Doctor Strange” and this one. Eventually Fantastic Beasts won, so here we go.

The story takes place in New York about 70 years before Harry Potter’s era.  Newt (Eddie Redmayne), a young wizard, travels to New York and gets into trouble because of the beasts he is carrying with in a suitcase. Luckily he finds Tina (Katherine Waterston), another witch, her sister Queenie (Alison Sudol), who can read minds and Kowalski (Dan Fogler), an ordinary man. All together they try to save the city and themselves.

The storyline was really interesting and although during the first hour of the movie nothing really happened, we got a chance to meet the characters and it wasn’t boring at all. Each character was carefully introduced and they all were perfectly combined with the story. The actors were actually great (nothing less expected by Redmayne) and they seemed to have chemistry with each other, which lead to a nice result. As for the beasts, we absolutely LOVED them. David Yates, the director, and the special effect team made an astonishing movie.

While we were writing this review, we were trying to think any reasons not to watch this film, but we didn’t find any. So get up and go watch it! 😀

Rating: 9.5/10
