Hello guys! 🙂

Behmen (Nicolas Cage) and Felson (Ron Perlman) are crusaders, but eventually they get tired of the whole situation, so they quit. But a Cardinal is on their way and makes them to transpot a witch (Claire Foy) to a monastery for the monks to kill her.

The script was actually pretty good. This movie may was a classic one with Middle Ages and witches (a very common combination), but it was really interesting, too. It didn’t make you get bored, as something was going all the time, and it also had an unexpected twist. The strong chemistry between the actors was obvious and it was delightful watching them. Cage was like he was in his natural habitat and of course he once more was amazing. Generally the direction wan’t anything special, although the slow motion during the battle and the scene were the witch was trying to burn her cage were really cool. As for the special effects, they were ok for a 2011 film.
