Hello guys! 😀
Dr. Stephen Strange (Benedict Cumberbatch) is the best neurosurgeon, but after an accident he can’t move both of his hands. Therefore he goes to Kamar-Taj, a hidden world of mysticism, in Nepal to heal himself.
The direction, by Scott Derrickson (also directed “Sinister” and “The Exorcism of Emily Rose”), and the special effects lead to an outstanding result. The whole movie was full of magic that you didn’t get bored watching. It wasn’t nominated for an Oscar for Best Achievement in Visual Effects for nothing, after all. The script, written by Jon Spaihts (also wrote “The Mummy” (2017), “Passengers” and “Prometheus”), Derricskon (also wrote (“Sinister” and “The Exorcism of Emily Rose”) and C. Robert Cargill (also wrote “Sinister”), was interesting, although it had many clichés, expected from a superhero movie.
As for the actors, Cumberbatch was once more delightful and he got along with his character. Mads Mikkelsen is born to play villains and he is doing great. We couldn’t but mention Benedict Wong who was hilarious.
If you are looking for another good superhero movie, you have to watch this one. But don’t expect it to be that much different from the other films of its kind.
